The Position
Manufacturing Engineer
This career
challenge will drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing
operations and establish
efficient production
processes while reducing costs and improving product quality.
·
Lead projects to improve worker
productivity and production output and quality by improving manufacturing
capabilities
·
Analyze engineering designs, procurement
procedures and manufacturing methods.
·
Function as the project leader to
coordinate activities with manufacturing production departments.
·
Develop economic justification for capital
equipment.
·
Improve workflow throughout the plant.
·
Maintain a high level of knowledge about
manufacturing processes, methods, equipment and tooling.
·
Facilitate process improvement teams and
continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
·Five years engineering experience in a heavy
industrial environment.
·Bachelors degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or
industrial engineering.
·Technical competency in steel fabrication,
welding, machining, or paint finishing is required.
·Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and quality
processes.
·CAD knowledge required, Solidworks
preferred.
Salary
Salary range of 60000 to 80000 dependent upon
qualifications. Midwest
location with relocation assistance.
